Mormon Scholars in the Humanities

I spoke March 26 3pm at Utah Valley University on “Decomposition and Material Continuity: the Cultural Work of Early Mormon Materialism,” putting a human face on early Mormon ideas about “materialism,” their concept that all substance, including spiritual substance, is made from matter, an idiosyncratic inversion of philosophical materialism.
